A photograph of a back-lit overhead power line in Waitawa Regional Park. This photograph was taken with a wide aperture and by leaving the shutter open for 30 seconds, this method allows the most amount of light to hit the sensor. This technique extracts stars that would otherwise be invisible to the human eye.
