Illustration in its purist form focuses on the visual explanation of a concept, designed for published media like posters, books and animations. Today however illustration is an art form in its own right. New Zealand has its own heavy weight illustrators who are globally recognised like Ross Murray, Toby Morris & Anna Crichton.
