Matt Jennings is an illustrator and artist born and raised in South Auckland. After completing his Bachelor of Design in Wellington, Matt has continued to develop his unique illustration style. He has held exhibitions both locally and internationally, recently completing a residency and exhibition in Fujiyoshida, Japan.

Matt’s work is inherently introspective, capturing invisible ideas and portraying them in a universal aesthetic that he calls his own. He aims to bring attention to the often-overlooked emotions and experiences that shape our daily lives. Drawing inspiration from a range of sources, including personal experiences, the natural world, and contemporary culture. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, Matt creates illustrations that are both thought-provoking and visually stunning.
