At endemicworld we operate both our retail art business and artist services business out of our gallery and studio space on Ponsonby Road. For 16 years we have specialised in making art accessible to New Zealanders.

We’re seeking a friendly and energetic Dispatch & Studio Assistant to join our team. This role includes carefully packaging art prints, framed prints, paintings and artist supplies ready for daily courier collections. A major part of this role is accuracy and physical strength and coordination to work on your feet. Alongside dispatch responsibilities you will also help the team maintain an organised studio.

Part Time Dispatch & Studio Assistant

Starts April 2025
Part Time 21 hours per week // Monday - Wednesday // 9:30am-4pm

Responsibilities:

• Neat packaging of 700+ orders per month.
• Applying branding and other elements for print/frame finishing.
• Accurate creation of courier labels.
• Maintain dispatch areas and restocking shelves.
• Completing studio tasks to help maintain clean workflow throughout the studio.
• Welcoming and helping visitors like artists signing prints and courier deliveries.

A few things we will be looking for: 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and strong to work standing up and handling large framed prints.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service is desirable.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills (mac) and experience with shopify or Go Sweet Spot beneficial.
• Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a busy studio environment.
