Situated amidst the Southern Alps of New Zealand, Chancellor Hut rests upon the Chancellor Ridge within the Westland Tai Poutini National Park. Built between 1930 and 1931, this historic alpine shelter is notably the oldest alpine hut to retain its original location.

About the Artist
Mike Mackinven is an Internationally Award Winning Photographer who specializes in Astrophotography and landscapes in New Zealand.
