About the Artist

Mike Mackinven is an Internationally Award Winning Photographer who specializes in Astrophotography and landscapes in New Zealand.

Some of his achievements include winning the NZ National Award for the Sony World Photography Awards and finalist in the overall competition (250k+ entries), Astrophotographer of the year in the Harry Williams Astrophotography competition run by the Auckland Astronomical Society and many more smaller competitions.
