About the Artist
Giona Bridler was born in Switzerland to the sound of cowbells and the smell of mountain meadows and raised in New Zealand with the song of the Tūi and the scent of the ocean. After an inspiring period of extensive travel, followed by time spent in Switzerland and Greece, Giona is now based in the beautiful Waitākere Ranges. Giona approaches life with a calm intensity and sensitivity which is projected in his photographic work. His images have gained him international recognition through photography awards including the IPAs, TIPAs, International Colour Awards (Nominations), and Sony Emerging Photographer (Winner).
