About the Artist
Born in Lima, Peru, Jessica embarked on her creative journey in 2001, making her way to New Zealand. Along the way, she explored Guatemala, Mexico, and the coasts of Europe—each destination shaping her unique photographic vision. The diverse landscapes and cultures she’s encountered have left a profound impact on her work, blending the vibrant hues of Latin America with the serene elegance of Europe’s lakesides.
Jessica honed her craft at The Photo School in Wellington, where she graduated with honours and received the Best Portfolio Award. Her exceptional talent has since earned her prestigious accolades, including the Kodak Gold Award and NZIPP Iris Awards. To Jessica, the camera is more than just a tool; it’s a means of connecting with the world, turning portraits, fashion, and travel into timeless visual stories.
