About the Artist
Jamie Larnach paintings combine New Zealand landscapes with surreal isometric forms, spheres, platonic solids, and portal-like corridors that intrude into the scene. These geometric presences hover, as if from another dimension, interacting with rivers, coastlines, and bush in a manner that feels both precise and uncanny.
Jamie has over three decades of involvement in Aotearoa’s creative culture. He co-founded New Zealand’s first rave, Entrain, in 1992 and Splore in 1998. These festivals brought together music, art, nature, and community in ways that reshaped the country’s cultural landscape. I am a released musician and international DJ as ‘Dastardly Bounder’.
