Guy Harkness is a New Zealand artist, living and working in Mount Eden, Auckland. Working mostly in oil on canvas, his paintings include local landscapes and the occasional still life, portrait and abstract piece. “Much like art itself, the physical landscape offers an experience to be shared. I like to connect with people and places with in my art, simplifying colour and line to accentuate commonly shared associations and emotions.”
