Guy Harkness (1965 - 2025) was a New Zealand artist from Mount Eden, Auckland. Working mostly in oil on canvas, his paintings include local landscapes and the occasional still life, portrait and abstract piece. “Much like art itself, the physical landscape offers an experience to be shared." Guy wanted to connect with people and places within his art, simplifying colour and line to accentuate commonly shared associations and emotions.
