About this print
The 13-metre-high clock tower was built in 1962. The original town clock was part of the post office, which was demolished after being damaged in an earthquake. The clock was put into storage until 1962, when it was brought out and used in the present tower. In 2021, the tower was given a new colour scheme in grey and yellow.
