About the Artist
Alice Berry is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist, based in Tāmaki Makaurau. She has a recognisable style that is colourful, fun and not the expected. Alice paints with freedom and playfulness, drawing on her experiences and intuition to inform her work.
Alice's love of nature can be seen in the organic shapes, themes and textures in her artwork. Much of her work has been inspired by the many travels and adventures Alice has been on. Colouring outside the line is something Alice believes in, which you'll see as you look closer and notice that often the paint spills out onto its frame.
Alice creates original paintings and releases limited edition art prints taken from portions of some of her favourite original artworks.
