About this print
Stratford’s Elizabethan-style clock tower was built in 1998 and incorporates a glockenspiel, the only one of its kind in New Zealand. It plays four times daily, accompanied by short scenes from Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The clock was relocated from the town’s post office.
