About this print
The concrete structure dominates the facades in this brutalist building. It is surrounded by x-shaped diagonal braces to help it withstand earthquakes. Designed by the architectural division of the Ministry of Works under Graydon Miskimmin, it opened in 1979. Its brutalist design was softened by the planting of vegetation on different levels.
