About this print
Blenheim’s 16-metre-high clock tower was completed in 1928 and serves as a memorial to the local people who died in the First World War. The tower is mostly built from stone quarried from around the Marlborough province, although the tower dome and the outer circumference of the clock face are Australian sandstone, symbolising the Australian–New Zealand co-operation in the war.
