About the Artist
Grace Wilkinson is a self-taught artist who lives in a tiny home in the countryside of Nelson, Tasman. She is often inspired by the scenes around her, rarely going for a walk without snapping some lush greenery, a garden, a cute house, or landscapes that catch her eye. Grace likes to paint pieces that evoke a sense of home, bringing nostalgia and, most importantly, joy. Her style has a whimsical, lively feel, often enhanced by the use of colour, texture, and a slight impressionist influence. Grace frequently plays with mediums such as gouache, ink, acrylic, and pencil, allowing her to switch up what and how she paints to stay inspired.
