About the Artist
Nanda Rammers, artist, photographer, interior designer, traveller is inspired by nature. She sold her home and put her Interior Design business on hold to go on a sabbatical journey around the world after a significant burnout.
Her travels were cancelled due to Covid-19 and instead she spent lockdown on an isolated beach on the North Islands’ west coast, gathering shells, feathers, mosses and driftwood which are given and taken by the ocean in a forever ongoing cycle. Inspired by the unique natural light, ocean, colours and raw pure beauty, she started drawing her finds by understanding their shape, form, colours, texture and spiritual significance.
Her drawings convey kindness and love for ourselves, others, and planet earth. We are on our own individual spiritual journey to learn, grow, change and become better selves.
