About the Artist

Emile Holmewood is an award-winning illustrator and animator. A New Zealander, he is currently based in Tokyo after building an advertising and editorial reputation in London. His work has appeared in leading global publications from The New York Times to London’s Guardian/Observer, and in public spaces like Madison Square Garden.

Among his advertising clients have been Apple and Bank of America. Emile’s illustrations are informed by his background in graphic design. He is a master of transforming complex ideas into humorous images.
