Alice Berry

Alice Berry is a multidisciplinary artist, based in Tāmaki Makaurau. Her distinctive style is colourful, playful and feel good. Alice draws on her experiences, intuition, and the numerous travels and adventures she has embarked upon to inform her paintings. Her love of nature can be seen in the organic shapes, themes, and textures in her artwork.

Alice's work has been seen on multiple magazine covers and TV shows. In 2022, Alice was chosen to paint a large sculptural whale tail as part of a public group exhibition that raised funds for WWF NZ. In 2023, she won the Bolt of Cloth Textile Design Award with her collection of cushions - 'Grounded' - based on her iconic rolling hills paintings.

Alongside painting, Alice is a freelance graphic designer, creates hand-built ceramics, and teaches art classes.
