About the Artist
Natasha Wong is an Auckland based artist who works from a shared studio space in the CBD. Natasha’s current artworks depicts portraits of alternative musicians who have been abstracted to create visual illusions. Primarily influenced by visual elements portrayed in Byzantine art and altarpieces as well as Andy Warhol’s silk-screened portraits of celebrities; her paintings represent personal icons and cryptic images.
