The Godley river flows from the Mount Cook National Park into Lake Tekapo in Canterbury. This photograph is the second in a series shot from a helicopter, capturing the incredible vein like nature of the river meandering over the land.

About the Artist
Emma Willetts is an accomplished and well travelled photographer based in New Zealand. After spending 10 years working and traveling the globe, she returned home, and recently established a beautiful photography studio in Oamaru, New Zealand. Her aerial photography, shot traditionally by daringly leaning out of a helicopter with her camera, is stunningly detailed and colour rich as a result. In her professional life, Emma regularly photographs for a varied spread of clientele, striving to capture the genuine and beautiful moments of life in her own refined style.
