About the Artist
Lucy Davidson grew up on the serene Tutukaka coast in Northland before graduating with a BFA (Honours) in 2013 from Elam School of Fine Arts. She has traveled extensively like many of us 'downunder', and currently lives in Auckland painting from the endemicworld artist studios. Her abstract paintings explore the notion that nature and human emotion are interconnected and affect each other. Memories are inherent in our natural landscape. Colour and scale represent her own emotions and connect people to theirs.
