About the Artist
Kate Hursthouse is a New Zealand artist and mother who runs her creative business out of her home studio in Te Atatū Peninsula. Her vibrant abstract artworks explore the idea of contained chaos, pushing the limits with colourful layers of ink, pattern and abstract marks. They reflect the feelings and emotions that live within us, acknowledging that beauty can always be found amongst the chaos, even in the smallest of things. Her art has become her place of calm and joy and her goal is to help other women find their own inner joy and calm through colour and creativity.
