Born in the art capital of Indonesia to parents who worked and taught in the arts and named after the master of Surrealist painting, Dali Susanto was destined to become an artist.
Dali, a self-taught artist, produces bold paintings, murals and textile patterns using acrylics, his designs often resemble prints and have a similar look of traditional batik designs. Since moving to New Zealand in 2007 he has exhibited widely in the Hawkes Bay and Taupo.
